1.5 Gold Mine Facilities <br />The gold mine operation will consist of the following facilities: <br />- prep plant, a 60' x 50' metal building built on An 18" thick concrete foundation <br />- assorted power poles delivering power to the camp azea <br />- 2 portable trailers for employee temporary housing 1-8' x 40', 1-14' x 70' on metal skids <br />- 1 office trailer on metal skids 14' x 38' <br />- 2 porto-potties for employees and visiting personnel <br />- equipment storage building (metal) on skids for easy removal 24' x 50' <br />- above ground steel diesel fuel tank of 20,000 gallon size with 18" concrete foundation and 3' high <br />concrete block walls sealed for secondary containment <br />- small insulated pump house of 10' x 10' size and wood construction, located neaz South Platte River <br />where Access 1 enters Highway 9, containing 88 hp motor to pump water from river <br />- 12",plastic water line delivering water from the pump house to the prep plant. <br />- 36" stacker conveyors removing waste material from the prep plant <br />- 36" portable overland conveyor bringing gold bearing gravel from the active cut to the prep plant <br />- 5" grizzly in pit <br />-front end loaders of Cat 980 size (1 or 2) <br />-haul trucks of Cat 769C size, 35 ton capacity, (2 or 3) <br />-Cat D-8 size dozer (1 or 2) <br />- in pit pump and 8" piping into sediment pond <br />- Guazd shack of wooden construction, 8' x 10' size without a concrete foundation <br />No blasting will take place in this operation. Any spills of fuel or other hazazdous material will be <br />reported to the Division as soon as they are discovered. <br />1.6 Acreage Calculations <br />The gold placer operation will disturb a total of 84.5 acres. Of this amount, 36.5 acres were dis- <br />turbed pre-1977 and no topsoil was salvaged. The following table describes the disturbed acreage <br />types for the life of the operation. <br />Alma Placer 7/03 20 <br />
