Stout:
In consideration of the lengthy delay that will be involved in receiving the
NPDES permits for discharges from Pond 006, the ^i vision proposes to proceed
toward granting approvals of the technical revisions listed above, contingent
upon receipt of the NPDES permits in question.
The Division is, therefore, approving TR-10, contingent upon receipt of an
NPDES permit allowing discharge of sewage water from Pond 006. Formal
notification of this approval will follow.
The Division also requires a response by March 20, 1987, from WFC to the
adequacy concerns, noted in the Divisions letter of January 9, 1987, in regard
to the design of Pond 006 as a discharging pond. Should an acceptable design
for Pond 006 be received by March 20, 1987, the Division will approve TR-07,
contingent upon receipt of an NPDES permit allowing discharge of prep plant
water from Pond 0 S ou d an acceptable design not be received by March 20,
- wi a denied. A pond design will still be required, but the
technical revision will have to be resubmitted.
If there are any questions in regard to the above, please call.
Sincerely,
J ~~ C ~4eu~Q
James C.
