E'itDiBIT E - RECi.:#f~i,~TiON Pi,aS
L Purpose: To stabilize soil, reduce damage from sediment and nmoffto
downstream areas. and improve;vildlife habitat and;isuai resources. Applicable
areas are surface-mined areas where vesetaran is difficult to establish b_v usual
planting methods.
2. In preparing the site for reclamation. the operator will use dump truck and front
end loader to distribute overburden or topsoil for planting. Each area will consist
of approximately 12 acres in size. The reclamation process will proceed when the
mining of each l2-acre section/phase has been completed.
3. The proposed land use for this area is agriculture and post mining land use will be
"Rangeland" in Agriculture Zoned District.
=F. Reclamation Plan Implementation:
A. Overburden will be replaced at extraction areas anon rernination of
excavation Estimated depth of repiacemem will be under I.° since there is
a very shallo;v level of top soil.
B. Land slopes should not exceed 50 percent (2: I) and should be flatter
where feasible and practicable.
C. Reve~etation Measures:
I.
