EXHIBIT I <br />Soils Information <br />Lands in the proposed mine expansion azeas aze not developed and aze sparsely <br />vegetated with occasional scattered low brush, greasewood and a few elm saplings. <br />Reports of the U. S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation <br />Service (MRCS), indicate that soils in the proposed expanded permit area and other <br />affected lands include Mesa Clay Loam (ME), Mack Clay Loam (MY), and Ustifluvents <br />(RS). <br />The stockpiled topsoil that will be placed over the pit floor and pit side slopes <br />during reclamation is suitable for establishing and maintaining plant growth. <br />A non-technical soil report prepazed by the NRCS is included with this Exhibit. <br />
