EXHIBIT G
Water Information
Mining operations are not expected to affect surface water systems. Rainfall in
the azea averages about 8 inches per yeaz. Surface water from seasonal storms and
snowmelt will temporarily pool in the permit azea. All surface water will be contained
within the north and west boundaries of the permit affected area by an earthen berm two
feet in height. Runoff from pit side slopes or stockpiled materials will temporarily pool
in the pit floor. No surface waters will be discharged from the permit area.
Approximately 3000 gallons of water per day is typically required for dust control
during mining and crushing operations. The source is from two unnamed draws with
perennial water located on site where Applicant holds absolute water rights in the amount
of 1.5 cfs.
All water uses will conform to standards established by the Colorado State
Pollution Control Commission, the Office of the State Engineer, and the water laws of the
State of Colorado.
