i'
AREA ~2 AND d'3
These two areas are fill slopes created by the construction of the road
' in the early 1970's. Both have been subject to slight erosion and both
slopes exhibit some revegetation that has occurred naturally. Ar~~a 2
averages an existing 1.3:1 slope with an elevation ranging from 6858 to
t 6798. Area 3 has an average slope oP 1.8:1 with an elevation ranging from
6832 to 6755. Both slopes appear stable in their current conditions and
' have been In this state since the roadway construction.
' AREA 4
Th[s area of disturbance is the result of the original developer of
' Cedar Heights starting to construct an access road to the development
Prom the quarry access road. The history of this event is not known but
the Pilling was apparently done In the early 1980's at the request of the
' developer by the current Operator of the quarry. The filling was ces~sed
when it became known to the Operator that the developer lacked prv~per
' governmental approvals.
' The slope is highly eroded In its current condition and is at the
critical stability angle relative to Pailure due to affects of m olsture, etc.
' The measured slope is 1.3:1 with an elevation from 6811 to 6745. Some
larger boulders have fallen to or near the bottom of the drainage. There
has been some damage to vegetation. The disturbance is partially on land
owned by each the Operator and the Cedar Heights developer.
AREAS s1 AND 7
These three areas are all comparatively small and minor in nature
consisting of sanding chips that have been pushed over the edge of the
road during the operation (sanding) of the access road during the winter
months. Very little disturbance has occurred to the larger more mature
trees. Very little Impact to the drainage has occurred as a result of these
disturbances and they are primarily visually obJectionable in nature.

7
