Since
then BLM has completed their Environmental Assessment and are working on the engineering and
reserve estimate for the modified lease. BLM has hired a new Mine Engineer (Foster Beckett) in the
Craig, Colorado field office. BLM representatives Foster Beckett and Rob Enrst have both been out to
Colowyo to do a field tour of the proposed lease area and reviewed our geological and mineable
reserves. However, since drill hole data was lacking for the specific area in question, additional drill hole
information was requested. In order for Colowyo to conduct the requested drilling, additional exploration
permits\Iicenses for unleased lands will need to be approved by the BLM. Therefore Colowyo will be
submitting an exploration package to BLM in the very near future for their review and approval. Expected
timeframes for approval of the exploration license is 3 months. Colowyo will do whatever is possible to
expedite the permitting process in order to reduce timeframes.
Therefore, due to the steps required to acquire the necessary information for the application, Colowyo
requests a 90 day extension as per the Colorado Mining Rules and Regulations regarding abatement. If
you have any questions regarding this matter please call me. Thank you for your time and attention to
this matter.
SincerelC~~~~~~~
C.
