6 • •
1992, 1993, and 1994 AHR Review Page 3
December 1, 1995
1994 Annual Hydrologic Report
1. Please make a note that an assessment of hydrologic impacts is
required in the AHR. Please provide this for the 1995 AHR.
In addition, the response provided in Mr. Stover's letter
should be included in the 1994 AHR. Please provide a revised
page.
2. BCC should provide a revised page to include the response in
the AHR.
3. It appears that there is only a table showing water
consumption and does not show how much water was imported to
the mine. Please provide this information.
General Recommendations and Questions
1. A map to be included with the 1993 AHR which shows the
location of all the monitoring sites was included in the
responses as requested. However, it was also requested that
a map be provided to be included with the 1994 AHR which shows
the location of the springs. This map was not included with
the responses. Please provide.
2. BCC should submit a revision to add the North Fork upper and
lower monitoring sites to the monitoring program. BCC should
propose parameters that will be sampled and the frequency that
these samples will be taken. The Division considers flow, pH,
temperature, EC, TDS, TSS, Fe, and Mn appropriate parameters
to be sampled. This information could be collected twice a
year.
3. It appears that the Division's findings document is incorrect
regarding the location of several domestic wells in the area.
The Division will correct our document at the next permit
renewal or permit revision.
4. BCC should submit a revision to include the completion
diagrams for the alluvial wells.
5. As stated previously, BCC should provide revised pages for the
AHRs which includes this information.
6. The Division will incorporate the revised table in the 1994
AHR.
