Inspections will be facilitated by contacting the company at the Dorchester
Colomine Coal Company office ac 751 Horizon Court in Grand Junction,
next to the Horizon Inn. Mine plans and other pertinent information for
OSM are kept at this office.
COMPLIANCE WITH INTERIM REGULATIONS
715.11 Copies of Applicable Permits
The State has issued a mining and reclamation permit co Dorchester
since the last OSM inspection. This permit issuance allows
violation O1 of NOV 79-V-1-11 to be terminated. The permit
was reviewed at the mine office. The operation has NPDES permit
CO 0036609 and a second point for the second sediment pond has
been applied for.
An engineering study has been done on the waste pile. The
reclamation plan now permits the location of the pile and provides
for a reclamation operation on the waste pile. The plans call
for the waste rock to be pulled back onto the bench and backfilled
into the face up area. Violation 02 of NOV 79-V-1-11 can be
terminated because the waste pile location was approved by the
State.
715.12 Signs and Markers
f Mine permit identification is in place as required. Topsoil
piles are marked with signs. Perimeter boundary markers are

7L5.14 BackfillinQ and Grading
The old road to the Anchor seam face up will be backfilled and
reclaimed.
