That's what I am saying. I don't expect a problem with the seed mixture.
DICK WARD: I think that's OK, but, it seems to me that we operate from a certain
point of information, based on authenticity, you might well say that
is in the record and you don't expect any problem but I think we still
require information of that sort.
BRAD JAMES: This information is important, and obviously we can't whole heartedly
for the operation without it. The thing is, I think there are some
important things that need to be considered in this application and the
reason why the staff is considering getting the thing permitted and on-
going is that we would like to see some mitigation of existing features
on that site in a reasonably expedient manner. Because of the potential
for high water which would affect this area in the spring.
JOHN WARD: We are not in that period of time right now though, it seems to me
that you have essentially what you might consider for filing purposes
a complete application, however, now this has taken the form of
ineffeciency.
BRAD JAMES: That's right, but thing is, ..if you want to cut it short, I will cut it
short.
SHERMAN BLACH: You said you had 15 possible problems, we should wait til you get these answers.
DICK WARD: Yeh, the one that I thought was essential, the seed mixture.
BRAD JAMES: Reclamation is going to occur at a future time, and we have time to consider
it if there is a problem with it.
JOHN WARD: Is the operatcr here?
BRAD JAMES: The operator is here.
JOHN WARD: Do you have ary problem with a one month layover of this matter?
TOM DAVID: Yeh, I think (inaudible) there would be no mine, with the
other operator.
JOHN WARD: You mean you have a contract that has already been awarded, contract for
miningl
TOM DAVID: We only have another two.... we would have to take this property prior to
the next meeting or it's over for us, our ability to even purchase this
property would expire.
BRAD JAMES: According to the lease, my understanding of the lease, the County has until
June 30th of ].981.
TOM DAVID: No, the lease expires December 31st, however, we would have until June 30th
of 1981 to remove the material that is being mined.
BRAD JAMES: If the mining operation is in question, it is the question of prior
disturbance. All prior disturbance has to be reclaimed if it occurred
