The Mined Land Reclamation Division has conducted an inspection of the above
mine, has made the findings stated in the attached schedule and 'Hereby finds,
for good cause shown, that a Cessation Order must oe issued with respect to
each of the conditions, practices, or violations listed in the attached
schedule. This Urder constitutes a separate Cessation Urder for each
condition, practice, or violation listed.
In accordance with Section 34-33-123 of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining
Reclamation Act, you are ordered to CEASE IMMEDIATELY the operations described
in the attached schedule and to perform the affirmative ooligations (if
applicable) described in the attached schedule within the designated time for
abatement. Reclamation operations not directly the suoject of this Order
shall continue while this Order is in effect.
You are responsible for doing all work in a safe manner in compliance with
applicable laws and regulations. If you have any questions, please call the
Mined Land Reclamation Division, (303) 866-35ti7.
The undersigned finds that cessation of mining is X is not expressly, or
in practical effect, required by this Notice. For this purposz, "mining"
means extracting coal from the earth or fro+n a waste pile and transporting it
within or from the mine site.
This Notice shall remain in effect until it expires, as provided by ]aw, or
until it is modified, terminated or vacated in writing by an authorized
representative of the Division, or by the Mined Land Reclamation Board.
