The pro- <br />duction will be approximately 250,000 tons/ <br />. year with the disturbed,arca being approxi- <br />lnately 20 acres/year. Runoff from undisturbed <br />areas will be routed around disturbed areas <br />with a series of ditches. There will be five <br />different disturbed areas in the permit 6oun- <br />dart'. Pfining will start at the lower <br />elevations and progress uphill. A portion of <br />the lower pit will be left to collect runoff <br />from the disturbed areas. This pit has been <br />sized to.collec[ runoff from a 100~year - 6 <br />hour storm so that a no discharge condition <br />exists. This satisfies [he Colorado River <br />Salinity Regulations. <br /> <br /> <br />
