the entrance to the mine. The address listed on the sign is <br />for Landmark Reclamation. Section 5.02.3 of the Colorado <br />Rules requires the business address and telephone number of <br />the permittee be included on'the sign. The sign will need to <br />be corrected to include this information. Perimeter markers <br />need to be improved in some areas around the mine boundary. <br />IMPOUNDMENT: The impoundment was dry at the time of the <br />inspection. The principal and emergency spillway appeared to <br />be functional. The principal spillway is pending <br />modifications which will prevent clogging. <br />BACKFILLING AND GRADING: The reclaimed area has numerous rills <br />and gullies which were easier to see because of the <br />enhancement from the snow. The largest seems to be in a small <br />drainage running across the site. This appears to be a <br />permanent drain way and will need to be stabilized for long <br />term stability. The other erosion will need to be watched <br />closely and repairs implemented if necessary. <br />DIVERSIONS: Collection ditch #1 was checked and may need <br />maintenance at a later date. The ditch is currently <br />functional. <br />OTHER: The water monitoring well at the upper end of the site <br />needs to be sealed and reclaimed since it is no longer <br />required for monitoring purposes. <br />MSEIR: Those items in block 24 marked <br />discusssed above.
