Just on the 8th of August, those <br />5 four--three of those four elected officials sponsored a mining <br />6 forum. <br />7 And again, I think that was a very balanced <br />8 presentation as to what other--how other communities have <br />9 addressed similar issues, most notably, Jefferson County. We had <br />10 the Rock Products Association represented in there and their <br />11 chairman, Mr. Hart. <br />12 MR. O'CONNOR: John, if you will excuse me f~~r a <br />13 moment, I think the board is probably willing to agree that you <br />14 and the group you represent have a legitimate interest in these <br />15 issues. And you have, you know, a background that este~blishes <br />16 that--that general interest. <br />17 But I think we need to get on to the specific: issue at <br />18 hand, and that's the notice of violation itself and to present <br />19 evidence or whatever such evidence as you wish to prepare. <br />20 MR.
