I
Water, Waste & Land, Inc. ~ • Statemen4 of Qualifications
2
ORGANIZATION OF OUR FIRM
In response to the changing nature of the projects on which WWL is asked to
provide services, we have organized our technical efforts into two operating divisions:
Environmental and Geotechnical. Each division focuses a set of technologies for specific
project requirements. The specialized skills of each division allow it to more effectively
and efficiently perform its project tasks. However, technologies, experience and
expertise, as well as staff, are fully shared between the divisions. This shared
technological base strengthens our ability to respond to multi-discipline situations with
effective and appropriate solutions.
ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION
The Environmental Division works primarily on projects involving water from the
standpoint of quantity, quality and the potential for degradation from exterryal influence.
The technological base of this division is ground water and surface water hydrology and
hydraulics. The expertise of this division is in its ability to collect, analyze, dnd interpret
hydrologic data and to integrate these data with other data and knowledge about a site
or problem area so that alternatives can be evaluated and appropriate actiorhs taken.
To support this expertise the Environmental Division has specific skills and
experience in the areas of:
• design and implementation of monitoring and sampling programs,
• well design and completion supervision,
• aquifer characterization,
• sampling quality control/quality assurance,
• data interpretation and management-storage/retrievalimanipulation, and
• flow and transport modeling (using both analytical and numerical t~chniquesl•
