Water, Waste & Land, Inc. • • Statement of Qualifications
9
SUPPORT EQUIPMENT
We also have a variety of equipment used to aid in analysis and design. This
equipment includes CAD systems, plotters, digitizers and graphics printers, which
enhance the efficiency of our personnel.
Field testing and sampling is an important component of our work. Our staff is
experienced and carefully trained, and assisted with proper field equipmeht. While all
drilling and geophysical logging is done on a supervised subcontract basis, critical well,
aquifer testing, and hydraulic parameter testing and sampling equipment, as well as field
water quality sampling testing equipment, is available in-house. This provides flexibility
and control for field test programs and assures that field data of the highest quality are
obtained.
Chemical analyses of liquids and solids are provided through selected local
laboratories. Normally, these laboratories must provide a complete water quality testing
facility which operates to EPA standards and provide inorganic and organic Chemical and
radiochemical analytical capabilities.
Physical analysis of soils is provided either in-house or by select geotechnical
laboratories. Chemical analysis of soils is provided by local analytical laboratories. Soils
testing is done to ASTM or other applicable standards.
