<br />Mr. David Stout - 2 - April 22, 1987 <br />East Portal Area (Map <br />5) po you not feel <br />and C-15 at the <br />joins the "old" <br />conveyer belt? <br />area associated <br />di tch. <br />13): <br />a culvert to be desirable for the ditch between C-13 <br />point the proposed new haul road from the parking area <br />haul road segment crossing over/under the new coal <br />Seemingly, there are enough drainage problems in this <br />with the roads not to insure the continuity of this <br />6) Would not a culvert be in order for D-25 at the point it intersects the <br />newly designated haul road north of the transfer building? <br />7) The present D-20 seems a fairly minor ditch yet it crosses two or more <br />segments of newly designated haul road. Assuming there is enough <br />surface runoff to make this ditch necessary, should not there be a <br />culvert or culverts installed along its course in order to maintain the <br />integrity of the haul roads? <br />8) Your removal of C-14 from the plan at this time will not be recognized <br />as a revision in itself but will simply be incorporated into the <br />proposed plan. <br />If you have any questions in regard to the above, please call. <br />Sincerely, <br />Jcw~C~ <br />James C.
