C-80-006: NOV-C-96-021, Assessment Offi2:er
Once I was done with my ground inspection at approx 12:10 pm. I
returned to Walden and tried to call Mr. Mossman again. No answer.
At that point I tried to contact Mr. George Patterson, the Mine
Manager, at the Southfield Mine. He was away for the lunch hour.
The receptionist gave my his cellular phone number and I attempted
to contact him at that number. No success.
i had some other records to look at the Jackson County Courthouse
so I did so at that time. The Marr Mine records at the courthouse
have not been updated in some time. The bulk of the records reside
in a box on the floor in the Xerox room. Additional communications
to the County Clerk and Recorder are located in the Clerk and
Recorder's office in the vault. These records are not complete or
up to date.
At 1:00 pm I tried one last time to contact Mr. Mossman, and Mr.
Patterson on both the Southfield line and the cell phone line. No
success contacting either mine representative.
Nov-C-96-021 was issued for failure to provide access to current
mine records. Rule 5.02.4(1).
c:\jhb\C80006\C96021.nov
