impoundments at the north intake and at the north fan. <br />DMG has addressed these noncompliances in a Notice of <br />Violation (NOV). <br />Diversions--The diversions at the mine, with the <br />exception of the north intake and north fan, are shown <br />on map 11. The location of the diversions, cross <br />sections and dimensions are given on the map which has <br />been certified. The diversions at the north intake <br />and north fan areas have not been certified. DMG has <br />address these areas in a NOV. <br />Roads--Although map 10 shows the road locations and <br />cross sections, the company was unable to provide a <br />certification for the road designs. DMG will also <br />address this in a NOV. <br />Coal Mine Waste--The refuse pile at the mine was <br />inspected and certified on 01/29/93. <br />SMALL AREA EXEM~TIvivS: There are ~ small area exemptions on <br />the mine. The company could not provide the demonstrations <br />for r_hese areas. DMG has addressed this noncompliance in a <br />NOV. <br />SUBSIDENCE MONITORING: The annual monitoring report was <br />submitted in July 1992. Subsidence at this time is as <br />predicted in the approved plan, The quarterly monitoring was <br />not available at the mine when requested but was provided the <br />next day. There are 8 monitoring points which have been <br />installed alerg the railroad track fnr monitoring of the <br />alluvial valley floor. <br />RECENT PERMITTING ACTIONS: Minor rev_sion number 35 which was <br />approved October 13, 1992 seems to be the last permitting <br />action up to the time of this inspection. <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: There is a total of 13 stipulations <br />attached to the permit. The stipulation number and its status <br />follows: <br />8 completed, except ongoing in wet Canyon. <br />12 completed. <br />14 completed. <br />28 ongoing. <br />7 <br />
