will be identified as such and all charged holes will be guarded
against unauthorized entrance by unauthorized personnel. Access to
the immediate area of the blasting site will be cleared and
controlled by qualified mine personnel prior to any blast. Colowyo
will use the explosive equation of 4.08.4 (10)(b)(i) to limit the
number of blast holes per 8ms delay period, as shown on the
Blasting Pattern. Alteration Overburden (Map 26) and Blasting
Pattern Alteration - Coal (Map 27), or upon request from the
division, a seismograph will be utilized to assure compliance.
Some previous seismographic measurements were made during blasting
operations at Colowyo; the results are set forth in Exhibit 14,
Seismographic Measurements. A record of all coal and overburden
blasts in the format as shown in Figure 2, Blasting Record, will be
used by Colowyo. Although seismographic measurements have been
made in the past (Exhibit 14), seismographic records will not be
used due to the option Colowyo has chosen to use the explosives
equation in 4.08.4 (10)(b)(i).
2.05-32
