The process for selecting the testing laboratory should be made by an <br />independent body not subject to paiitical or financial pressure by either party-those who <br />contest the permit and Battle Mountain Gold. The process should be worked out under <br />the gtaidance of a mediator/facilitator from a reputable professional organization. <br />We fear contamination ofthe farmland, and the resulting consequences to the <br />general health of the area population.
