These reclamation
revisions will allow correction of the unpermitted disturbance
by the new operator after the permit is transferred. Mining
will then commence as permitted.
The following is a point by point response to the May 16,
1985 inspection report:
1. Request Technical Revision of the mining plan - please
delete the dry mining operation condition. A wash plant
will be incorporated into the operation. Water will not be
drown from Plum Creek - unless in compliance with Rule 116
(1)(h)(a).
2. Topsoil stockpiled above the pit wall will be used on arses
available for revegetation, Any topsoil remaining more
than one growing season will be graded to slopes no greater
than 2H:1V and seeded to prevent erosion or deterioration.
Any current erosion will be corrected immediately..
3. The operator will continue to maintain a minimum setback of
150 feet from Plum Creek at the southeast permit corner -
after the stockpiles are removed and the settling ponds
backfilled and reclaimed. Any disturbance at this location
will be reclaimed, in compliance with the original permit,
and remain unaffected throughout the life of the operation.
2305 S.
