MESA GRAVELLY CLAY LOAM (5%to 10°k slopes) Map Symbol "MoC <br />This soil is on old high terraces and along small <br />streams that have cut into the terraces. It has a <br />profile that is similar to the one described as typical of <br />the Mesa Senes, but the surface layer is 15 to 40 <br />percent gravel and cobblestones. Most of the <br />acreage is west of the Uncomphgre River. <br />RAVOLA ROCK OUTCROP ii ROUGH BROKEN LA <br />Rock outcrop and Rough broken land (Rr) is made up <br />of shallow soils and bare rock outcrops on the steeply <br />sloping sides of mesas The higher parts consist of <br />massive Gifts of Cretaceous sandstone, and the <br />lower parts of mixed collwium.
