The reclamation permit No. M-77-300 for this operation is a <br /> Hard Rock 112/UG permit for metal mining. Cotter Corporation is requesting a reclamation <br /> liability release for 10.88 acres of the current affected acreage of 57. The location and <br /> quantity of the acreage requested for release from reclamation liability is depicted on the <br /> attached maps (see Figure 1 "M-77-300 — Section 25, T2S, R71W, 6th P.M. Affected <br /> Acreage Release Dec. 2000" and Figure 2 "M-77-300 — Section 8, T3S, R701N, 6th P.M. <br /> Affected Acreage Release Dec. 2000"). A brief narrative description of each tract of affected <br /> area that liability release is requested for is provided below. <br /> 1. Section 25, T2S, R71W, 6th P.M. Affected Acreage Release: <br /> a. Tract A = 1.55 Acres <br /> Tract A consists of a total of 1.55 acres that lie along the west bank of Ralston Creek <br /> at the west end of the mine site. Part of this acreage (approximately 0.65 acres) has <br /> been disturbed by mining operations, having been used as a training ground for the <br /> site mine rescue teams. The remainder of the acreage in this tract has never been <br /> disturbed by mining operations. <br /> b. Tract B = 6.12 Acres <br /> Tract B consists of a total of 6.12 acres that lie south of the East Dump anj along the <br /> east bank of Ralston Creek at the west end of the mine site. The acreage in this tract <br /> has never been disturbed by mining operations. Note that an access road along the <br /> creek between Tract A and Tract B will remain as affected acreage. <br /> c. Tract C = 1.82 Acres <br /> Tract C consists of a total of 1.82 acres of drill access roads and stations that lie on <br /> the ridge that overlooks the floor of the Ralston Creek drainage from the south.
