"Bud" Bobo, President. <br />Copies of my daily loge also are included. <br />1. FEASIBILITY STUDIES <br />Tvo published studies plus various multiple variations based upon <br />different productivitea for The Fruits Mine properties were developed. <br />Much time and effort are involved in developing feasibility studies, especially <br />with little other assistance. Included in these studies are the development <br />of mine plans, surface facilities, mapping, operating coats, capital costs <br />and economic feasibility. <br />2. MARKETING <br />My involvement with the marketing effort has mainly been with the foreign <br />market, acting as liason between Mr. Bobo and the Far East consultants in <br />this country. Included were: making arrangements for Mr. Bobo's foreign <br />tripe, communicating with him while he was in the Far East, communicating <br />with consultants and telexing information to the Far East company contacts. <br />Mr. Scott Leonhart worked with Mr. Bobo on the domestic markets. <br />3. RAILROAD <br />I was involved in meetings with the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad <br />regarding: <br />a. Transportation to the West Coast <br />b. Rail rates <br />c. Loadout locations for the small mine at Fruits <br />d. Raiiroed loedout leases at Fruits and Loma, Colorado <br />e. Consolidation of the DRG and the SP (Southern Pacific) <br />4. PRESENTATION SLIDES <br />I worked with another consultant in preparing the elides for Mr. Bobo's <br />presentation of American Shield Coal Company. <br />5. COAL COMPANY EVALUATION <br />Upon Mr. Bobo's request, I have been involved in evaluating two coal <br />companies for potential acquisition. One property is located in Wyoming; <br />the other in Weat Virginia. Involved were site visits, meetings with the <br />owners and evaluating documents, etc. <br />
