~' <br />l <br />WILDLIFE INFORMATION <br />The following resources were used in evaluating wildlife impact: <br />EXHIBIT H <br />- -Essential Habitat for Threatened and Endangered Wildlife in Colorado -Wildlife <br />Management Section, DOW, Depaztment of Natural Resources, State of Colorado, 1978. <br />- -Colorado Bird Distribution Latilong Study, DOW (1978). <br />- -Colorado Mammal Distribution Latilong Study, DOW (1978). <br />- -Park County Select Species List, Wildlife Inventory Information, DOW - (1977) <br />- = Pazk County Wildlife Resolution, No. 31. <br />- -Colorado Threatened or Endangered Wildlife -Designation of Species DOW (1983). <br />The proposed mine site is located adjacent tot the town of Alma, Park County, directly east of <br />Colorado Highway 9. The site is at the 10,400 foot level east of the crest of the Continental Divide, <br />and has been significantly disturbed by over 140 years of previous on-site mining. <br />Vegetation surrounding the site and on the undisturbed portions of the site consists of the conifer <br />over-story (Lodgepole pine and Bristlewne pine), Aspen (located on glacial moraines north and east <br />of the site) and the herbaceous under-story (I{innikinnick ,mixed grasses and fortis). <br />1 <br />Alma Placer 7/03 60 <br />
