- 8.5 acres of processing azea (Assume 15,000 cy)
- 5.5 acres azound final pit lake (Assume 26,000 cy)
•' -1.5 acres miscellaneous disturbance in tank storage azea, etc. (Assume 4,000 cy)
- 2.5 acres azound Pond #2 azea and fill Pond #2 (5,800 cy)
- 600 linear feet of 8' high berm along Highway 9, spread over 2.0 acres, (2,840 cy)
Total azea to be smoothed or graded: 20.0 acres. The total volume to be moved in smoothing
(grading) is 53,640 cy.
It is expected that all of the area smoothed will be topsoiled in addition to the camp area of 3.4
acres, therefore, the total to be topsoiled is 23.4 acres. This acreage is also the total to be seeded
and mulched at the end of the mine life.
The spreading of fines will occur from Fines Piles #2 and #3, located neaz the processing plant
azea. A thickness of 3" over 23.4 acres is a volume of 9,438 cy. This volume will be spread over
the designated areas with a small dozer to minimize compaction.
The reclamation timetable is given below, assuming that all cuts have economic viability and
t will be mined.
Task # Description Time Needed
in months
1 Stdp Initial overburden from Cut 1 and place to the
northeast.
