(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase Pdb and c Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of January 190i through February 151, 2003. The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 10° F to 29° F, and highs ranged from 35° F to 48° F. Snow was recorded on January 280i, 2003. Weather observations were made on ten days of this two week reporting period Construction Svnonsis Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase IVb and c construction. Ames conducted Phase IVb and c construction activities on ten days of this fourteen day reporting period (January 200i through January 240', and January 270' through January 315` ). Construction activities conducted during this reporting period are shown in site maps of Phase IVb and 1Vc, located in Attachment A. Phase IVb Ames continued hauling and placement of Low Volume Solution Collection Fill (LVSCF) in Phase 1 Vb. Ames utilized a Caterpillar 330 excavator with a bar attachment to taper the crest and shoulder area of the in-place LVSCF material. Hauling and placement of the LVSCF in the Phase IV PSSA azea was completed for the season on January 24th, and will resume in the spring of 2003.
