The primary purposes for this
Technical Revision are to make minor modifications to the boundary of Affected Areas and to
add specific mine site and remote site features to the Permit to fully encompass all Pennit-
related disturbances.
In conjunction with this Technical Revision request, the Operator is also proposing minor
clarifications in the reclamation plan for the Permit.
The following materials are submitted herewith to document the requested Technical
Revision:
1. Figure 2. "WEST SUNDAY MINE, ROADS AND VENT HOLES", 1" = 200',
Revision August 20, 2003.
2. Figure 3. "WEST SUNDAY MINE", 1" = 100', Revision August 20, 2003.
3. Bureau of Land Management receipt for payment of 2002 - 2003 annual
maintenance fee and a list of unpatented mining claims covering the sites included
under the Permit.
Background
The Operator received the Permit under a Succession of Operator in 1997. The Operator
conducted operations at the West Sunday Mine during the period of November 1997 to June
1999. The West Sunday Mine has been on suspended operation status since June 1999.
The historical site maps received by the Operator do not fully reflect existing site conditions
and have not been updated for many years. Therefore, this Technical Revision is being
requested to make minor changes in the boundaries of Affected Areas and to add information
to accurately depict site conditions.
