Response comments are made in the same order as in your letter. <br />The map legend symbol for intermittent water flow (dash and dotted lines) are used on the map to <br />define an imgation ditch to the north (which is usually dry and is outside the permit area) and the <br />lower spring creek-bed above the pond. The ditch just to the north of the site and the lower ditches <br />and pond axe all owned by Nick H. Gray The ditch is part of the lower spring/creek/pond irrigation <br />system used for the Gray property. The upper ditch is a diversion ditch used when the lower ditches <br />are being cleaned-out when the water is on call. The bullet item for Exhibit S -Man-Made Structures <br />witltin 200 feet states that "Irrigation Pond, ditches, and Fences owned by Nick Gray ?. damage <br />waiver is attached." (the damage waiver is Nick Gray to Nick Gray, copy attached) <br />The text in Exhibit D has been revised to reflect new access point Two (2) copies are attached.:1 <br />copy has been filed with S'Iontrose County Clerk and Recorder for public review <br />3. Secondary containment for site hazardous materials (ie. temporary fuel and lubricants for mobile <br />process equipment) has been constructed and consists of a bermed enclosure surrounding the <br />temporary site fuel storage area (tank and drums) observed during your site inspection of 11 /20/03. <br />The containment conditions have remained as you observed then. The berm is large enough to <br />contain the full vo]wne of all stored materials and or fuels. Other than the bermed area, volumes o£ <br />fuels and other lubricants and/or hazardous materials will be that volume contained in the tanks and <br />reservoirs of each separate equipment type. <br />
