We do anticipate having the
disturbance areas #'s 5, 6, and 7 completed with grading and
probably topsoiling by that date, bu[ that is about all. As
can be seen by a review of the corrective action plan
(submitted October 6, 1989), we anticipate that completion
of all work on the road about late April 1990. Following is
a listing of the various items which will require attention
and why they cannot be completed by even October 30.
1. CULVERTS
a: Each culvert location must be precisely aligned, the
culvert material purchased and delivered, the road closed
for installation, and the culvert placed. Six culverts must
be installed. In order to not cut off the quarry from
customers, this work must be done either after hours or on
weekends. It is estimated it will take about three days to
install the culverts once they are located and designed, a
process which could take several days in its own right.
