The CMLR Board also found violation for failure <br /> to maintain adequate financial warranty [Rule 7.3(c); CRS 34-32-117(4)(c) ]. <br /> Please refer to the attached Findings of Fact for details concerning the <br /> violations, cease and desist order, corrective action, and civil penalty. <br /> The civil penalty assessed by the CMLR Board was $1 ,000.00 (One Thousand <br /> Dollars) to be paid within 30 (thirty) days. <br /> Concerning the mining versus prospecting issue, this item was continued until <br /> the March 27-28, 1985 Board meeting. The Board requested that a one-page <br /> brief be submitted by Marathon and by the Division stating our respective <br /> positions. This brief should be submitted prior to March 17, 1985.
