Responses are listed relative to the order of comments listed in your letter of
December 21, 2005:
Application page 1 (replacement page)
The total proposed mining azea within Phases A, B, C, and D is approximately 101 acres.
This includes the 9.9-acre existing 110 permit azea. The acreage listed on application
page 1 includes 39 acres of affected lands. This azea is proposed to serve as a potential
aggregate plant/equipment staging site. No mining will occur within this 39 acre azea (see
attached amended Exhibit C-Mining Plan map(Eahibit C-In).
Exhibit C -Pre-Mining and Mining Maw
Sepazate maps have been prepazed and aze attached as amended Exhibit C-I and C-II.
All properties, easements and applicable structures within 200 feet of the affected lands
aze shown and identified on Exhibit C-I.
The mining limits are shown as Phases A-D on Exhibit C-II. The "affected lands" which
encapsulate the mining phases aze shown on Exhibit C-I.
It is unknown at this time if mining will occur west of the buried irrigation line within
phases A and B. No changes to the mining limits shown on the original Pre-Mining and
Mining Plan map have been made.
Direction of mining for all phases is shown on Exhibit C-II. It is proposed that mining
will begin in Phase D at or neaz the proposed south access and progress northwazd. The
sequence of mining beyond this start up area has not been determined.
Stormwater control assessment is further discussed in the attached addendum to Exhibit
G (Exhibit G - A).
