"'~ •~
• ~ .-
Page 2
I Craig Sherwood
December 19, 1980
•
In general, the proposed plan must comply with our regulations concerning
Access Roads - Section 4.03,2, IJe can supply our regulations to you as a
guide if you do not have a copy. Other sections of our regulations also
apply but your main problem is to comply with this section. I would request
that you read this section carefully paying close attention to subsection
4.03.2(1), 4.03.2(2), and 4.03.2(4)(a). Specifically you should be certain
that Che culverts installed will not block or impede the natural drainage of
the stream. Using a series of smaller culverts is preferred over using one
large culvert since the road height should be kept as low as possible. Also
note that this letter in no way precludes your responsibility to other portions
of our reyulations not mentioned.
At this time, we are not puttiny a timetable on submittal of these plans,
but you should submit the plans early so that work can be skarted and completed
at the island before spriny snowmelt. If you have any questions or need
guidance please give me a call.
Sine 1 ,
~j
L/
Robert Liddle
Reclamation Specialist
/k
V
4
