Preliminary review <br />of the information received determined that the following items must be received before the Division can consider your <br />application as being submitted and technical review can begin: <br />PXFIIB?T A - Leal 13escription (Rule b.4.1): 'I'ne legal description must identify the affected land and be <br />wholly adequate for field location of the property. It can be in the form of metes and bounds survey or a <br />description by reference to township, range and section io at least the nearest euzrter quarter section. Where <br />applicable, the street address or lot numbers may be used. <br />There are metes and bounds data shown on the map, along the perimeter of the parcel to be added under this <br />amendment, but the information is not complete and not entirely correct for the added land. There is also legal <br />description information included on the Exhibit E map, but it is incomplete. <br />EXf1YB1T ~ -Reclamation Plan (Rule 6:4.51: This exhibit should be in Hanna±ive form, not a map. (1) In <br />preparing the Reclamation Plan, you should be specific in terms of zddressing such items as final grading <br />(including drainage}, seeding, fertilizing revegetation (trees, shrubs, etc.), and topsoiling. You are encouraged to <br />allow flexibility in your plans by committing ±o ranges of numbers (e.g., 6"-12" of *.opsoil) rather than specific <br />f gures. <br />(2) The Reclamation Plan shall include provisions for, or satisfactory explanation. of, ail general <br />requirements for the tyre of reclamation proposed to be implemented by you. Reclamation shall be required on <br />all the zffected land. The Reclamation Plans shall include: <br />(a) A description of the type(s) of reclamation you propcse to achieve in the reclamation of the <br />affected land, why each was chosen, the amount cf zcreage accorded to each, and z general discussion of <br />methods ofreclamation as related to the mechanics of eartiunoving; <br />(b) A comparison of the proposed Host-mining land use to oilier land uses in the vicinity and to <br />adopted state and local lard use plans and programs. In those instances where the post-miring land use is for <br />industrial, residential, or commercial purposes and such use is not reasonably assured, a plan for revegetation <br />shall be submitted.
