BMRI • • Notice of Completion October 21, 1999 Page 2 The San Luis Project is located approximately 4.5 miles northeast of the community of San Luis, Costilla County, Colorado; A brief statement of what is being requested and that public comments concerning the appropriateness of the requested release should be sent within thirty (30) days to address for the Division of Minerals and Geology. BMRI will include in the published Notice the following language: Battle Mountain Resources Inc. (BMRI) hereby submits this Notice of Completron. This Notice is submitted as an administrative adjustment to the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (CDMG) Permit M-88- 112 permit property boundary and does not constitute a request for partial or complete release of any financial warranty as discussed in Sections 7.2.10 or 7.2.11 of CDMG's regulations. BMRI requests that the CDMG permit property boundary be adjusted to account for a recent land property transaction conducted berween Earth Sciences Inc. (ESI) and BMRI. This transaction will transfer title of all property previously or currently affected by BMRI mining and beneficiation operations. This request adjusts the property boundary to retain all BMRI related mine and beneficiation associated surface land disturbance within the CDMG property boundary and requests release of 398.79 acres of lands not disturbed by BMRI related mine or beneficiation operations currently under the ownership and control of ESI. A surveyed land plat of the requested permit property boundary adjustment and lands requested for release have been submitted and are on file with the: Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 Denver, Colorado 80203 Because there are no BMRI mine affected lands associated with those lands which BMRI request release from the existing permit property boundary, there is no financial warranty to be released. Any interested party(ies) desiring to submit public comment conceming the appropriateness of this Notice of Completion is requested to submit such written comment(s) within 30 calendar days of the date of this publication to the: Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 Denver, Colorado 80203 BMRI will submit proof of publication to the CDMG.
