As <br />you know, BMR does not believe that a violation of the specific <br />permit requirements has occurred, however, in an effor to <br />cooperate in good faith with your office, BMR has prep red an <br />initial response to the information request set forth n <br />paragraph 2 of the Abatement Requirements which states <br />(21 Immediate Assessment of Environmental Imoact <br />BMR shall review all available environmental moni oring <br />data collected to date, including its approved gr and <br />and surface water monitoring sites, air quality <br />monitoring sites, the tailings pile leak detectio <br />system, the processing plant circuit, and any oth r <br />applicable monitoring facilities. A report summa izing <br />its initial findings shall be submitted to the Di~ision <br />by Friday, April 10. <br />Groundwater Monitoring <br />The approved MLRD groundwater monitoring program requires <br />that groundwater samples are to be collected on a quay erly basis <br />from several locations within the permit boundary area as shown <br />on Figure G-1 of the approved permit amendment.
