May 2, 1996, and tested by <br />Enviro-Chem ."indicate that synthetic PCBs were detected in <br />the soil at 54.12 parts per million (ppm), 13.98 ppm and 14.71 <br />ppm." (Page 10) <br />Evergreen Analytical, a lab in Wheatridge, tested the <br />split samples provided Mid-Continent sad found all samples to be <br />below detectable limits for PCB. These results are attached for <br />your review. <br />According to the EPA affidavit, tests performed by EPA <br />on samples collected by EPA May 22, 1996 ". did not show the <br />presence of any PCBs." (Page 12) <br />To our knowledge, no attempt has been made to determine <br />the depth of staining or quantity of material to be disposed. To <br />arrange for proper disposal of the material, it ie necessary to <br />resolve the question of wheeher it does or does not contain PCHs, <br />and the quantity of material.
