The Chieftain South Mine, operating under mine permit number M-81-148, requests a <br />change in the sequence of mining and a change in the maximum allowable disturbance a[ any one time <br />within the affected land boundary which encompasses 131.51 acres. <br />Staein¢ <br />Robco has enclosed revised pages 10, 11, l2, 13, and 24. Mining activities will occur simultaneously <br />within the stages, as mining progresses from south to north on the west half of the area and progresses from <br />north to the south on the east half of the area. Exhibit D-1, Minin>; Plan and Stages Map remains <br />unchanged. <br />Maximum allowable disturbance at any one time <br />Robco has enclosed revised pages 50 and 51 of Exhibit L, addressing the increased acreage and <br />reclamation cost. Currently the maximum allowable disturbance is 52.69 acres. The TR maximum <br />disturbance is increased to 98.5 acres, all contained within the mining stages designated on Exhibit D-1. <br />There is no change to the final reclamation plan. The additional disturbed acreage is primarily allocated for <br />product storage piles, topsoil stockpiles and the associated ramps and roads accessing these ancillary areas. <br />The reclamation costs are updated to reflect current acreages and costs. <br />A check for the TR submittal is enclosed. In addition, Robco has included a copy of the revised permit <br />pages with all changes and additions highlighted.
