Ms.Kate Pickfard <br />Division Of Minerals and Geology <br />October 27, 2003 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />3.1.6 Water -General Requirements <br />The operator has complied with applicable Colorado water laws and regulations governing injury <br />to existing water rights and has complied with applicable federal and Colorado water quality <br />laws and regulations, including statewide water quality standards and site-specific classifications <br />and standards adopted by the Water Quality Control Commission. <br />• The operator has complied with all applicable federal and Colorado dredge and fill <br />requirements. <br />• No temporary or permanent siltation structures were constructed in the release request <br />area. <br />• No dams were constructed in the release request area. <br />• No surface areas were disturbed due to mining in the release request azea. <br />3.1.7 Groundwater -Specific Requiremeuts <br />The operator has complied with applicable groundwater quality standards in effect during mining <br />operations and reclamation activities associated with the original permit. <br />3.1.8 Wildlife <br />The release request area has not been disturbed by mining activities. <br />• Wildlife habitat creation was not a part of the reclamation plan for the release request <br />area. <br />3.1.9 Topsoiling <br />Topsoil was not removed from, or disturbed in, the release request azea. <br />3.1.10 Revegetation <br />Grading and revegetation has not been performed in the release request area. <br />3.1.11 Buildings and Structures <br />No buildings or structures were disturbed in the release request azea due to mining activities. <br />3.1.12 Signs and Markers <br />Signs and markers were not placed in the release request area for mine operations. <br />
