responding to things. The mining industry doesn't have to go
looking for environmental plotting and scheming to try to figure
out where its problems are coming from in this instance because the
problem's internal. The other thing is that it has really caused
an enormous expense to the State. In a way, there has almost been
a humorous side to this thing that its just been so long running
and never seeming to end. i desperately hope that next month we
are not going to see Mr. Tatman or somebody back here and, you
know, a new lawyer we haven't met before coming back here....
We have to recognize... whoever is calling the shots in this
company took a long time to wake up and cost us an awful lot of
expense and headache. I wish we had back the money we spent
sitting and listening to this stuff over however many years."
"I kind of echo Luke's comments. I do wish you very well on this.
I think it is important for the credibility of people, for Mark's
ability to operate independently and re-establish his credit. Its
unfortunate we've come this far with this thing. I wish you well
in this thing."
"I really wish you the best and I hope this all works out for you.
I hope my nightmare doesn't come true and we don't come back with
another cast of characters next month... ..but if we do wind up
with that kind of thing, I hope you will send a message that there
is at least one vote on the Board in favor of ending this matter
immediately by simply revoking this permit and forfeiting the
bond...if we wind up with Mr. Tatman back here and a bunch of
excuses for things not getting done. Good luck to you."
If you should have any questions concerning this partial transcript
please contact me.
Since ly,
~~~~^~
William C.
