RECLAMATION REPORT SUMMARY
American Tunnel -Marshall Bertrand Millsite
Waste Dump Area
The reclamation plan for the American Tunnel waste dump area (which includes the azea
on the Marshall Bertrand Millsite affected by this request) anticipated removal and/or
burial of debris, contouring to blend with the surrounding contours and planting with the
Mountain Mix. The Post Mining Land Use was rangeland.
As an extension of TR-11, where approval was given to move the Lead Cazbonate
tailings to Tailings Pond No.1, the mine waste dump and underlying Lead Carbonate
tailings were removed and consolidated into Tailings Pond No.4. The slope, consisting of
the natural overburden material, was then contoured to match the surrounding azea,
amended with limestone at 1 ton/acre, planted with the Mountain Mix at 25 pls/acre,
fertilized with liquid fertilizer (32-0-0), and mulched with hay at 1 ton/acre. This work
was completed in 1995.
Since 1995, the area has been in the monitoring and maintenance phase of reclamation.
No maintenance work has been required in this azea.
Sunnyside has through its reclamation efforts satisfied all applicable portions of the area
reclamation plan in accordance with the Hard Rock/Metal Mining Rules and all
applicable requirements under the Act for the portion of the Marshall Bertrand Millsite
included in this report and corresponding request for release from further reclamation
responsibility.
Sunnyside Gold Corporation
By: ~..
Larry Perino
Title: Reclamation Manager
Date: No,,. zz , zavy
