expansion is approved, tna»cially 1 will su er greatly as well since my land
would likely be worth a fraction of what I paid for it, if I could even sell it.
Also, my plans to move part of my family across the country to this piece of
property will be ruined.
I really don't think that the surrounding communities of South Woodmoor as
well as Gleneagle are even aware of what is proposed at the pit. There are
probably 500 large and expensive homes that will be visually impacted by
any expansion since their home sites are in view of this project.
Why can't gravel be mined from elsewhere so that such a great visual impact
of such a beautiful area is not at stake. Reclamation plans usually fall far
short of repairing visual damage for decades after reclamation begins. I
cannot help but to wonder where our priorities as a community, state or
county are if this expansion is allowed at this site.
Please take the time to properly evaluate all that i.s at risk in ~rther
developing this gravel pit.
Thank you,
Kurt strove
owner of.• 0 Hay Creek Rd
tax schedule: 7130-07--007
Current mailing address: 1550 Old Antlers Phone: 719-594-9518
Monument, CO 80132
