r
Exhibit L -Reclamation Costs.
As explained above, no more than 40 acres at a time will be disturbed before
reclamation begins. Mining will shape the pit. Specific tasks for reclamation will be
stripping, hauling and spreading topsoil and overburden to minimum depth of two feet
over the pit floor. Dump trucks will haul stockpiled overburden and topsoil to the top of
the pit slope and dump the materials down the slope. The materials will be dozed
downward and spread to the toe of the slope at a minimum level of six inches.
Exhibit S- Permanent Manmade Structures.
Significant, valuable or permanent manmade structures within 200 feet of the
affected land aze two houses owned by A & G Partnership, located east of the proposed
pit expansion area, and aconcrete-lined ditch on the south boundary of A R G
Partnership's property just south of the haul road. The ditch follows the haul road from C
Road to the pit ramp.
A wire fence just south of the row of cottonwoods and A R G Partnership's south
property boundary runs west from where the paved access road intersects the proposed
expanded pit boundary, to the southwest corner of Mining Area 1. The fence is owned by
adjacent landowners Jones, Melgosa, Sanchez and Griffith.
The structures described above have been placed and identified on the revised
Mining and Reclamation Maps.
Mining operations will be away from and are not expected to adversely impact any
structures not owned by A & G Partnership. In the very unlikely event damage resulting
from mining operations occurs to the neighbors' structure, Parkerson Construction, Inc.
will restore the structure to its original condition.
I am enclosing a copy of the Proof of Publication we received from the Daily
Sentinel.
After your review of my response to your letter, give me a call if you have
questions or comments.
Sincerely,
~G
Alan Parkerson
Vice President
Parkerson Construction, Inc.
