Box 359, Keenesburg, Colorado 80643, phone (303) 659-8520, <br />has applied to the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (CDMG) for a technical revision <br />to update and clarify the drainage plan for the Keenesburg Mine. Coors Energy Company owns <br />and operates the Keenesburg Mine under the current CDMG permit C-81-028. <br />The Keenesburg Mine is located seven (7) miles north of Keenesburg, Colorado and is accessed <br />by Weld County Road 59. The permitted area is located within Sections 25 and 36, T3N, <br />R64W of the 6th Principal Meridian, in Weld County, Colorado. The Keenesburg Mine <br />operation can be referenced on the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) "Klug Ranch" and "Tampa" <br />7.5-minute quadrangle maps. <br />Copies of the application may be viewed at the Town Hall in Keenesburg, Colorado and at the <br />• Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, phone (303) 866-3567. <br />Anyone with an interest may submit written comments, objections, or requests for an informal <br />conference within 30 days of this publication.
