Time 't'ables for Reclamation
(1) We plan to continue mining. and complete total reclamation of
the land located within our present ll0 permit
boundaries (excludinK 1.2 acres - concrete and eravel plant area)
before starting any mining in converted ll'[ permit area. (refer
to reclamation elan map)
(21 We will have to stockpile alzKreKates in part of this
converted acreage (112 permit) in a tew vears to accr, mplish
reclamation on present 110 area. 'I'bis is ideutiried as "future
stockpile area - 4.0 acres", on minine map.
(3) I[ will be several vears before minine will take place on
new, additional, permitted acreage. Ae.cause we will 6e miuiue in
a westerly direction and it will take several vears to reach the
west boundary, reclamation couldn't be started on this land for
several years, possibly 2002. The last area to be reclaimed
after mining is tinished, will be in the southwest corner of new
permitted area. (refer to reclamation map yrs. 2002 and '1025).
(4) It should be understood that these are estimated rime
tables. Timing of mining and reclamation operations will he.
dependent on economic conditions and levels of construct:ion
activity.
f5) It mining reserves are depleted in the distant tu[ure and no
other land could be purchased within close proximity of present
processing tacilities, the concrete and gravel operations would
be terminated at this location. IY this occurred, the plant and
stockpile area would have to be moved, and that area would he
totally reclaimed shortLv thereat ter.
Immediately Yollowinq is a cross section of sloped banks and
reclaimed areas.
Bonding Reguirements ___Phased_ Uperat.i_on
In regards to bonding requirements for this operation, we want to
again state that this will be a phased operation. Acr_ual mining
will not take place foc several years (1998) on new permitted
acreage, and would not involve more than ll'2 acre per year trom
that date.
Theretore, when determining bond requirements,
the H.L.R.R. take this into consideration.
Thank you,
7bm Ciathias
I would ask that
9
