Eastside is attempting <br />to obtain a better quality original. <br />2.04.7 Ground and Surface Water <br />On pages 63-64 of Eastside's Permit Application the Water Quality Impacts <br />are addressed. These impacts are summarized below: <br />No impact to groundwater quality are anticipated. <br />Flow depletion of groundwater would be 0.2% of maximum flow. <br />Negligible impacts from mine underground water anticipated to <br />Harvey Gap surface water due to lack of discharges to that water. <br />These statements show that there will be no contaimination (no discharges <br />have occurred to surface or underground waters), diminution (no surface <br />water is utilized, 0.2% of maximum underground flow seeps into mine), <br />or interruption of an underground or surface source (no surface water <br />is utilized, 0.2% of maximum underground flow seeps into mine) on the <br />agricultural, fish, wildlife, and vegetation or other legitimate use. <br />2.05.3 Ponds, Impoundments and Diversion Ditches <br />Reference ECC letter dated April 18, 1989. <br />
