After filling the pit with nonrecyclable
waste products, this land could be used for agricultural purposes
as alternative number one or as a housing site. Alternative number
three under present zoning A2 it will allow the operation of a
sanitary land fill with the approval of the E1 Paso County Planning
Commission and the E1 Paso County Commissioners. Exhibit "F", the
reclamation plan, Exhibit "L", and Exhibit "Ef" heretofore sub-
mitted on September 14, 1977, are based upon the land fill operation
concept which eventually upon returning the level to existing
grades would permit this land to be used for agricultural purposes
or other suitable developmental purposes. Sanitary land fill
would include the use of screen enclosures to insure proper handling
in covering of waste materials. Alternative number four would
utilize the pit as a future water storage area. During dry periods,
the water could be conveyed to Fountain Valley Ditch No. 2 and used
for irrigation purposes.
I
-2-
