<br />EXHIBIT " <br />MINING PLAN <br />This amendment is an expansion of an existing sand a d gravel <br />operation currently permitted under a 110 permit, No M-84- <br />026. The proposed expansion will also encompass all <br />disturbance associated with operations permitted and r an <br />adjacent 111 permit, No. M-94-021, located on the sa e <br />subject property. <br />The operator is proposing to expand the permit bound~ry to <br />include the entire subject property and to actively ins a <br />total of approximately 27 acres within the subject p opert; <br />(a) The remaining sand and gravel reserves will be r moved by <br />dozer, front-end loader, track excavator or a co ination <br />thereof. <br />(b) Earthmoving will consist of stripping and stockpi ing <br />topsoil from areas to be mined or to be utilized or <br />roads, stockpiles or facility sites. Topsoil wil be <br />salvaged and stockpiled utilizing dozers, front-e d <br />loaders, track excavators and scrapers. <br />Excavated sand and gravel materials will be eith r sold <br />as pit-run material or delivered to portable crushing and <br />screening facilities located on-site, Excavated mate ials <br />will be transported on-site utilizing front-end loads s, <br />scrapers, and end-dump truck. <br />Processed materials will be placed into stockpile for <br />commercial sale by conveyor and front-end loader; rej ctable, <br />processed materials will also be placed into stockpil by the <br />same means. Saleable materials will be removed from <br />stockpile utilizing front-end loaders, and loaded int <br />highway-type transport trucks for delivery off-site. Reject <br />materials will be backfilled into the excavation as p rt of <br />final site recontouring, and will be placed with doze s, <br />front-end loaders, scrapers and end-dump trucks. An <br />inventory of processed, stockpiled materials and load ng <br />equipment will be maintained on-site to enable the op rator <br />to engage in commercial sales from this operation on year- <br />round basis. <br />Regrading and recontouring of the excavated area ill be <br />accomplished with dozers, front-end loaders and scrap rs; <br />these equipment types will also be used to remove sal aged <br />topsoil from stockpile and place it over recontoured nd <br />_ ~_ . <br />(c) The operator proposes to utilize inactive, mined- <br />
