Pond 016/016A Two-Pond System Sediment Capacity
Dear Mr. Mathews:
Enclosed are two (2) copies of an application for a technical revision to the Seneca II-W Mine Permit
(C-82-057). TR-56 contains a revised SEDC_AD4 modeling demonstration for Pond 016/016A
System. A third copy has been sent to the Division's Denvet Office also addressed to you.
Seneca Coal Company (SCC) has revised the SEDCAD4 demonstration to incorporate changes to the
mine plan approved by Permit Revision No. 5 (PR-OS), which resulted in a decrease in the disturbance
azea from that approved under PR-04. In addition, SCC updated the annual R value, using a value
which is representative of existing conditions versus a value reflective of the worst-case landscape
condition.
